Save The Planet STP asphalt sealer

STP is formulated and manufactured at USSC’s main plant in Alpharetta GA. This specially engineered coating / sealer is designed for applications on asphalt parking lots and roads to reflect the heat from sunlight. The reflected heat from STP is at the same wavelengths as the incoming sunlight wavelengths. These reflected wavelengths energy is not easily absorbed by the atmospheric gases and they are not activated. On the other hand asphalt surfaces that are untreated with STP or painted with a black sealer, will absorb the Sun’s radiation and reflect the wavelengths that are different from the incoming light. The radiations of different wavelengths then get absorbed by green house gasses. This absorption of reflected surface radiation by the green house gases leads to the green house effect and contributes to global warming. Coupled with its favorable radiation absorption properties, STP is fortified with special acrylic resins, rubber polymers and aggregates to yield a strong durable, anti skid, flexible water-proof asphalt sealer. It can be applied over 1 inch thick wide cracks. This coating will cure over time and will not crack and will stay flexible. Two coats may be needed in certain applications. Being water based it is a green, non-flammable, non-toxic product.
