USSC’s Red Oxide solvent base Primer is formulated and manufactured at its main manufacturing factory located in Atlanta, GA. This formulation is designed as a high build, high solids, anti corrosive anti rust primer / coating. It dries fast and cures to a very durable finish that is water and weather resistant. It contains special pigments and additives that are coupled with the high performance alkyd resin to form a very durable tough coating that resists rust and corrosion. It can be top coated with a variety of alkyd paints, water based or solvent based acrylic coatings or two component epoxy or poly urethane top coats. In many applications there is no need for a top coat.
